Who is Hu?
I'm Rachel Hu, an Industrial Design student at Auburn University, drawn to the quiet harmony between form and function. I enjoy exploring ideas through research, sketching, prototyping, and experimenting with materials, finding clarity as each iteration reveals new possibilities. Craft and attention to detail guide my work, helping me shape concepts into thoughtful and tangible designs. I’m inspired in part by Chinese and Asian design principles, and I strive to create objects that feel intentional, balanced, and enduring, where beauty and purpose coexist naturally.
